It's been over ten years since we had a tall stagecoach trunk like this one. Most
stagecoach trunks were flat tops but some were made taller and with a round or
dome top. This trunk is as beautiful as it is rare with its white pine background,
slotted hardwood staves (with solid brass saddler's nails), solid brass lock and metal
handles. It is completely original except for a new lining and leather lid stay. The lid
is minutely domed, making it almost a true round top. This trunk will look good in
almost any setting or decor. It may be another ten years before we see the likes of
this beauty so if you like it then don’t hesitate, it’ll soon find a new home. Just call
